Another crushing project from Lisbon's disciple of evil WOUND (Hours of Worship, Flesh Cairn). This time targeting death/black influenced doom metal, MISERABLE ABYSS lives up to it's name. Across "Subaquatic Corporeal Rot" WOUND himself displays ability to delve deep into atmosphere, with lingering passages of drowning grief. Unsettleing vocals cascade down into the pit of iniquity, dragging the listener into further torture.
