The structure of "A lot of things can't follow you out here" solely relies on years of recording sounds and atmospheres in abandoned factories, hospitals, farms, schools, churches, tunnels and the close physical experience of scratching sickles, shale plates, reforming metal and obtaining silence. This third release of Rhizome Weaver is a major departure from the artists previous recordings and merges hours of heavily processed recordings into slabs, bits and waves of oppressive cut up harsh noise to once more represent the ceasing reliability of memory, a world constantly ridding itself of illusion and the subjective absolute of perception.
